Welcome to the King County Sheriff's Office Online Reporting System. You will be able to report your incident without waiting and be able to print a copy after the report is approved.

ONLY USE THIS ONLINE REPORTING SYSTEM, if ALL of the statements below are true: 

  • This is NOT an emergency or an crime in-progress 
  • The incident occurred within unincorporated King County or within one of our contract cities listed to the right 
  • Did not happen on Sound Transit, Metro bus or a Park & Ride
  • Did not occur on a state freeway
  • Not reporting a lost/stolen firearm
  • YOU are the victim of the crime
  • There are no known suspects
  • There was no evidence left behind
  • You have a valid e-mail address.

If you answered no to any of the above, look at our Frequently Asked Questions section or dial our non-emergency line at 206-296-3311 so we can help you with your report.

 

If ALL of the above steps are TRUE, follow the steps below

  • Turn off browser's pop up blocker

  • Select type of incident you are reporting below

    Fields marked with a red asterisk " * " are mandatory

  • Complete the report 

    Upon completion, you will see "Your online police report has been submitted" and you will be given a "temporary" report number (this is NOT your permanent case number).

  • Check your email

    You will receive and email within 5 days after report is approved with: 

    • Permanent case number
    • Copy of report will be attached

Burglary follow up

If adding information to a previously filed burglary report, select "Burglary follow-up" below.

Graffiti

If graffiti appears gang-related, do not report it online!  Call 206-296-3311 to report gang-related graffiti. 

Washington State unemployment claim victims

If you are a victim of a fraudulent Washington State unemployment claim, select "Identity theft" below.
