The King County Youth Wellbeing Network (KC-WYN) is a King County Best Starts for Kids-facilitated, community-driven initiative designed to create conditions for young people to thrive. It connects current referral systems to broader promotion and prevention supports to improve youth behavioral health, educational success, and housing stability and reduce use of crisis systems of care. KC-WYN strengthens coordinated prevention systems using a shared governance and learning structure that harnesses the insight and resources of local communities.
For this funding opportunity, we will be accepting applications from organizations serving the Renton area (please refer to the eligibility section for more information) who are aligned with KC-WYN’s goals. This funding opportunity is best suited for well-established organizations that are versed in coordinating community partnerships and have a deep understanding of youth prevention and promotion approaches.
