Policies and practices
We review potential policy changes by the Sheriff's Office. We also propose our own changes and work on local and state laws.
It is our duty to recommend policies that promote equity and reduce policing's harms to our communities. To inform this work and prioritize this work, we engage with community stakeholders, analyze trends in investigations, and review outside research.
