Capital project rosters (unadvertised contracts)
Architectural/Engineering Consultant Roster
King County may use the Consultant Roster for architectural, engineering, or professional services projects with an estimated cost of $1,000,000 or less. Projects solicited via the Consultant Roster are not advertised in the newspaper. King County invites at least two "Certified Firms" to submit a proposal for a roster project. "Certified Firms" refers to King County certified Small Contractor and Supplier (SCS) firms, and Public Works Small Business Enterprises (PSWBE) and Small Business Enterprises (SBE) certified by the Office of Minority & Women Business Enterprises (OMWBE).
For SCS certification questions, contact Susan Pederson at spederson@kingcounty.gov or (206) 477-5188.
To join the roster, you need to register in the E-Procurement Supplier Portal. If you do not sign up for the Consultant Roster as part of your initial registration, you must email procurement.web@kingcounty.gov to request an invitation to the roster.
Small Works Roster (Construction)
The Small Works Roster is used to find contractors and award contracts for construction projects with estimated cost of less than $350,000.
These projects are not formally advertised. Instead, bidders are invited using the statewide MRSC roster. To be invited to bid Roster solicitations, contractors must be registered on the MRSC Roster in the category of work being solicited.
Contractors also need to be registered with the E-Procurement Supplier Portal to submit a roster bid through the system.
