Proposed revisions to voting precincts are available for public review and comment opens on January 16, 2026. The deadline to submit your comment is January 26 at 4:30 p.m.
Proposed precinct alterations
State law (RCW 29A.16.040, RCW 29A.16.050) requires that precinct boundaries be adjusted in response to:
- redistricting efforts
- limitations on the maximum number of voters
- annexations to cities and
- other election administration constraints
King County Elections is required to submit these changes to the county legislative authority for adoption (KCC 1.12.010).
