The federal government recently changed its childhood vaccine recommendations. However, in Washington state, nothing changes:
- Families can still get all childhood vaccinations to protect their children from serious diseases
- Vaccines are still no-cost for everyone under age 19 through the Childhood Vaccine Program (CVP)
- School requirements haven't changed
Families should follow the American Academy of Pediatrics immunization schedule: Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule for Ages 18 Years or Younger, AAP
