How to verify your ballot online

During the April 2025 Special Election, you can verify your ballot with your Washington State ID or driver's license number or the last four digits of your Social Security Number, rather than signing the return envelope. If you'd rather sign as usual, you can! It's up to you how you verify your ballot in this election.

  • Go to the secure online portal

Follow kce.wiki/verify to verify your ballot.
  • Enter your information

Enter your first and last name and your date of birth. Click continue.
  • Read and attest

Read the ballot declaration and attest to it by checking the box. Click continue.
  • Enter more information

Enter your ten-digit Ballot ID number, which can be found on your return envelope.

You'll also enter either your Washington State ID or driver's license number OR the last four digits of your Social Security Number. Click continue.

  • That's it!

If the information you entered matches the information on your voter registration record, your ballot will be verified!

If the information does not match, you will need to try again to make sure you entered everything correctly. Or, you can sign your return envelope to verify your ballot instead.

You must still return your ballot!

Whether your sign your envelope or verify online, you must return your ballot for your vote to count.

Ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, April 22. Or, in an official drop box by 8 p.m. sharp on Election Day.
