Visit the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent, or see our selection online. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends.
Scammers continue to contact owners of lost pets in our area, claiming the pet has been found and demanding immediate payment from the owner for their safe return. Some are using AI-generated images of pets as "proof."
THESE ARE SCAMS!
DO NOT send money, provide your bank or card info, use payment apps, or buy gift cards to give to the scammer.
If you think your lost pet is in our shelter, visit kingcounty.gov/LostAPet or stop by in person weekdays from noon to 6 p.m. or weekends noon to 5 p.m. We're located at 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent.
