Rhonda Lewis was appointed by the Council  December 9, 2025 to serve as the District 2 Councilmember until certification of the November 2026 election.

District 2 encompasses the University District, Laurelhurst, Ravenna, Eastlake, Capitol Hill, the Central District, South Seattle, Allentown, and Skyway.
