Vanshare
Bridging the gap between home, work and transit
Enjoy riding the train or ferry to work, but need that last connection to work? Vanshare is great solution!
Metro Vanshare is a rideshare program that connects commuters between home, local transit hubs and work. With just 5 or more people who share a similar route and schedule, you can form a Vanshare and split the driving duties and costs.
Vanshare is best for shorter commutes—under 20 miles roundtrip—especially if you don’t live near transit or your worksite has limited to no transit access.
What is Vanshare?
No matter if you're connecting to work by bus, Washington State Ferries, the Sounder train or more, Vanshare can make commuting easier. Share rides from home to a local transit hub, or from a transit hub to work.
A $200 flat monthly fare—split between you and your fellow Vanshare commuters—covers the van, insurance, maintenance, tolls, fuel and more!
