New taxiway configuration at KCIA

Review NOTAMs for up-to-date info

As construction on Runway 14L/32R (the small utility runway) nears completion at King County International Airport-Boeing Field, users are encouraged to note changes to the taxiway layout and numbering. These changes are intended to improve clarity and aid pilots in navigating the airfield.

Please see the diagram below for an overview of the updated taxiway configuration.

Key updates

  • New Taxiways A6, A4, and A2 are now in place. They are restricted to aircraft weighing 12,500 pounds or less.
  • Taxiways A3 and A5, also connecting to the small runway, have a Pavement Classification Rating (PCR) of 610, suitable for use by aircraft including those in the UPS fleet.

As always, airport users are strongly encouraged to review NOTAMs for the most up-to-date airfield information.

For questions or clarifications about the new configuration, please contact Airport Operations at 206-296-7334 or email AirportOps@kingcounty.gov.
