Renovations to the new Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) shelter location in Kent continue to move ahead on schedule. On April 2, members of the RASKC team met on-site with the county's Facilities Management Division (FMD) and the design team to look at draft floorplans and get an idea of what the flow through the building will look like. King County has purchased a building that will be the new animal shelter and headquarters for Regional Animal Services. The facility, located at 5920 S. 194th St. in Kent, is slated to open in 2027 and will replace the current aging pet adoption center. Read more at Tails From RASKC
