KCSO Southeast Precinct - 3 Maple Valley

Precinct 3 covers a geographical area of approximately 700 square miles. Interstate 90 is the northern boundary for the precinct, and the cities of Renton, Kent, and Auburn border the western side of the precinct. The eastern boundary extends into the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest, and the southern boundary ends at the Pierce County line.  Precinct 3 facilities are located in the City of Maple Valley.

The cities of Covington, Maple Valley and Newcastle, the Town of Beaux Arts Village, and the Muckleshoot Tribal Police hold contracts for police services with the King County Sheriff’s Office. Precinct 3 provides school resource officers to the Auburn, Issaquah, Renton, and Tahoma school districts and the Muckleshoot Tribal School.

Concealed Pistol License Renewals & Fingerprinting

To ensure staffing availability, all original concealed pistol licenses (CPLs) are done by appointment only (limited appointments available).  Click on the button below to check availability and schedule an appointment.  Walk-ins are accepted for renewals, as long as the expiration date is within 90 days before or after the expiration date.  Please note that the only acceptable forms of payment at the precinct are check or money order.

Filing Accident Reports

Washington State Accident Report forms are available outside the front door of the Burien Station at any time or at the SeaTac Police Department during business hours. Forms should be completed by anyone involved in an accident that was not investigated by a deputy and that resulted in damages more than $1,000. This form should be fully completed and mailed to the Washington State Patrol at the address listed on the form.

Obtaining Records and Reports

Drug Box Drop Off Info

Precinct 3 (in conjunction with MED-Project) now has a secured medication disposal kiosk in their lobby for citizens wishing to dispose of unwanted medications. The lobby hours are from 8:30 – 4:00, Monday thru Friday.
