Biography 

Judge Angela J. Kaake was appointed to the King County Superior Court by former Governor Jay Inslee, and took office in March 2024. Prior to her appointment to the bench, Judge Kaake served as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the King County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for over 23 years. She has significant misdemeanor and felony trial experience and spent much of her career focused on domestic violence and sexual assault cases. Judge Kaake earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Washington and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law.
