Public Disclosure Index

The Public Disclosure Index (PDI) is a list of King County records and their retention schedules as prescribed by state law. These schedules give a description of the type of records unique to county agencies and provide information on how long they are retained, as well as their possible historical value. Local government records retention schedules are approved by the Local Records Committee which is made up of the Washington State Archivist, a representative appointed by the state auditor, and a representative appointed by the state attorney general.

The Archives, Records Management, and Mail Services (ARMMS) section of the Records and Licensing Services (RALS) Division maintains the King County public disclosure index.
