ADVISORY: King County Elections to Conduct Logic & Accuracy Test for the February 2026 Special Election on Thursday, January 15

King County Elections will conduct the county's official Logic and Accuracy test on ballot counting equipment at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 15 at the King County Elections office, 919 SW Grady Way in Renton

King County Elections does Logic and Accuracy testing prior to every election to ensure that the tabulation system is accurately programmed to count votes. 

Accessible voting units (AVU) will be tested earlier in the day to ensure each AVU prints voter selections accurately. Test ballots printed from AVUs will be included in the official Logic and Accuracy test at 1 p.m.

There are 25 measures on the ballot across 13 districts. Ballots will be mailed to voters in participating districts on Wednesday, January 21 and voters should have their ballot in hand by Monday, January 26. If their ballot does not arrive by January 26, voters should call King County Elections at 206-296-VOTE (8683).

Election Day is February 10.
