Sammamish River Service Area

The Sammamish Service area comprises 171 square miles of the Sammamish River watershed within King County. This service area is completely within WRIA 8. The service area has several distinct subbasins including Issaquah Creek Basin, East Lake Sammamish Basin, and Bear Creek Basin. Permittees with impacts to wetlands, streams, and buffers may be able to use the King County In-Lieu Fee Program to offset unavoidable impacts within the Sammamish River Service Area.
