Join 4Culture’s Outreach Event at Auburn Community & Event Center Classroom
Story
4Culture, the cultural funding agency for King County that works to ensure access to cultural experiences for all, is set to host an outreach event in Auburn on Feb. 18. The agency provides grants focusing on four program areas — arts, heritage, historic preservation and public art, that fund experiences from museum collections to theater productions to artists showing work in its gallery.
Additional information about the event can be found on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/4Culture under the Events section or by emailing 4Culture at hello@4Culture.org.
“Through its mission, 4Culture aims to preserve our shared heritage by placing art and culture at the center of our civic endeavors,” said King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer, who represents the Auburn area. “For anyone thinking about applying for a grant this year or just interested in finding out more about 4Culture and the projects it supports, I strongly encourage you to stop by.”
The outreach event will be held in Auburn from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 18, at the Auburn Community & Event Center Classroom (910 9th Street SE, Auburn, WA 98002). The agency will meet with residents about the various programs offered by 4Culture as well as its support for art in King County.
