Story
The Metropolitan King County Council on Wednesday confirmed the appointment of David Osborn of Auburn to the Lake Geneva Lake Management District.
Created in 2016, the Lake Geneva Lake Management District provides homeowners located within the proposed boundaries of the Lake Geneva Lake Management District (LGLMD) No. 2 with the ability to protect the quality of their lives through the creation of funding and strategic plans to address current and future issues at Lake Geneva. A long-time resident of Lake Geneva, David has been actively involved in the Lake Geneva community and has a background as a microbiologist and research biochemist.
“David Osborn brings strong qualifications to the Lake Geneva Lake Management District,” said Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer, whose council district encompasses Lake Geneva. “The District will be well-served by his experience in microbiology and demonstrated commitment to the Lake Geneva community.”
The LGLMD consists of 5 members, 3 of whom are appointed by the King County Council. David’s appointment is for a 3-year-term expiring on June 30, 2022.
