King County Executive Dow Constantine provided an update on the state of King County government to community leaders at King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer’s April “Good Eggs” breakfast at the Phoenix Rising Café in Auburn.
Constantine began his presentation by highlighting his commitment towards working towards consensus to build a welcoming community with opportunities for all. Constantine also discussed King County’s new Department of Local Services, which consolidated roads, permitting, community services and more to administer local services in King County.
The Executive also discussed his office’s three areas of emphasis: homelessness, natural infrastructure and built infrastructure, and also engaged the local elected officials, business and community leaders in attendance by answering their questions.
