Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer appoints former Federal Way Mayor Jeanne Burbidge to 4Culture Task Force.

Monday, the Metropolitan King County Council confirmed the appointment of Jeanne Burbidge to the 4Culture Task Force.  Burbidge will serve as a representative of King County District 7, and was sponsored by King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer. 

Jeanne Burbidge brings strong qualifications to 4Culture.  “As a longtime resident of Federal Way and a member of the Federal Way Performing Arts Foundation Board, Jeanne provides a much-needed perspective from the south sound region,” said von Reichbauer.  “I know that with Jeanne serving on the task force, the residents of South King County will be well represented.”

4Culture administers King County’s arts and heritage programs.  4Culture receives a portion of the hotel/motel tax revenues to advance arts and heritage programs throughout King County. The 4Culture Task Force, which consists of 27 members, has been tasked with issuing an assessment of 4Culture’s governance structure, as well as its processes and practices, no later than February 1, 2019.
