New ballot drop box locations in South King County offer voters convenience and accessibility

New permanent ballot drop boxes in SeaTac and Renton are now accepting voter’s ballots for the Aug. 2 Primary Election. Drop boxes are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until 8:00 pm on August 2nd. No postage is required at the drop box locations.
“Voting is the cornerstone of democracy and it’s important that everyone is able to participate,” said Metropolitan King County Councilmember Dave Upthegrove. “The new ballot drop box locations will make it easier for South King County residents to have their voices heard.”
“These new drop boxes are the result of an amazing partnership between the Department of Elections, the King County Council, the Executive, the Seattle and King County library systems, and numerous other property owners” said Julie Wise, King County Elections Director. “This election, voters will have more options than ever to return their ballot by August 2.”
South King County locations include:
