Metropolitan King County Council Vice Chair Jane Hague released the following statement on today’s announcement that County Council Chair Larry Phillips will not seek reelection:

“What a loss! I value his friendship.

“His passion for our government is exemplary. As a national leader and innovator, he understood and promoted the importance of County services.
