South King Fire and Rescue and Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer hosted a gathering of reflection, on the 12th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Councilmember von Reichbauer honored South King Fire and Rescue (SKFR) firefighters and EMT personnel, reminding us to “remember… reflect…and rededicate.”
von Reichbauer also recognized the brave firefighters and EMT’s alike who serve today. “My own brother was a fire commissioner in his community, and I know firsthand the importance of honoring our first responders; they are always there when we need them most,” said von Reichbauer. “We learned many lessons from that tragic day and today we gather to remember, reflect, and rededicate ourselves,” said von Reichbauer.
