The following statement was released from the office of Metropolitan King County Council Chair Larry Gossett:On September 2, Larry Gossett was checked into the hospital where it was determined that he suffered a slight stroke. After two days in the hospital he was released.
Councilmember Gossett has been recovering at home. He is doing well, but under doctor’s advice not to return to work until September 23.
There are no expectations of any lasting residual effects of the stroke.
