Story
North King County residents went to the Shoreline Conference Center Tuesday, February 21 to ask questions and talk with Metropolitan King County Councilmember Bob Ferguson at a town hall meeting. The meeting provided a forum for residents to meet with their representative and discuss the issues that matter to them.“Town hall meetings are a great opportunity to hear directly from the people I represent,” said Ferguson. “We had a good turnout and an engaged crowd with a lot of questions on important issues.”
Ferguson and representatives from County agencies answered questions from audience members about a wide range of issues, including parks, the Burke Gilman Trail, Metro bus service, transportation planning, Brightwater, and public safety.
Councilmember Ferguson represents north King County on the King County Council, including the communities of Shoreline, Lake Forest Park, Kenmore, Bothell, and Woodinville.
