“I am shocked and saddened by the sudden death of Senator Scott White. In my interactions with Scott at the King County Council, I always found him to be bright, innovative, hardworking and inclusive, regardless of party.

“His talents carried over to the state senate where he again distinguished himself with his many talents.

“While nothing will make-up for the loss, my heartfelt condolences go to his wife Alison and their two young children. The legacy of Scott’s thoughtful public service should give them some measure of comfort.”
