Veterans Day holiday closures and service impacts
Learn about the impacts to King County operations and services on Veterans Day, a state and federal holiday.
Most King County government offices will be closed to observe Veterans Day. Veterans Day is on November 11. When November 11 falls on a Saturday, the holiday will be observed on the Friday before. When November 11 falls on a Sunday, the holiday will be observed on the Monday after.
In 2025, Veterans Day will be observed on Tuesday, November 11.

- Metro offices will be closed. This includes customer service, lost and found, and pass sales.
Courts
District Court, Superior Court, and the Superior Court Clerk’s office will be closed.
