Crime data maps

The below links will take you to dashboards that display crimes committed in the King County Sheriff’s Office jurisdiction/and or our Contract Cities in the current and prior year. The data is refreshed every morning. The crime reports will display if a supervisor has approved and it meets the criteria for release. The crime reports displayed may still have an active investigation, and due to this, reports may change over time. Serious crimes under active investigation are not included in the data set until the investigation is complete. Some types of crime have addresses withheld. All map points and addresses are approximate to protect the privacy of victims. This map does not show non-criminal traffic infractions. These are not considered crime statistics, please see the crime statistics tab on the website.

Exportable Offense Report Data (2020-Present) 

Offense report data is available in an exportable format, updated daily with internally supervisor-reviewed reports. This data is not official crime statistics, as the reports within the dataset may still be under investigation, and the offense may change throughout the investigation.  Crime statistics 

Since mid 2018, the Sheriff's office has submitted official crime statistics in the NIBRS format to the FBI through the Washington Association of Sheriffs & Police Chiefs (WASPC). Official crime statistics can be found in  WASPC's yearly Crime in Washington report, broken out for Unincorporated King County, the cities that contract for our services, and Muckleshoot Tribe.
