Cedar Creek
About the Park
Cedar Creek Park is a 130-acre forested park with four miles of multi-use trails tucked between two housing developments, one each located within Maple Valley and Covington.
Featuring some of the county's oldest cedars, maples, Douglas-fir, and western hemlock, this forest has springs, wetlands, and the salmon bearing Jenkins Creek. It is among the healthiest wildlife habitat in the county; home to deer, mountain beaver, river otters, coyote, and sometimes elk and black bear. The wetlands are also visited by heron, osprey, red-tailed hawk, and eagles.
