Regional Affordable Housing Dashboard
Last updated November 2025
This dashboard provides a window into housing affordability across King County. It combines data to spotlight needs, track progress, and support coordinated action so every household in King County has a place to call home.
Created for the Affordable Housing Committee to track progress on Regional Affordable Housing Task Force recommendations, the dashboard now serves as a bridge until a new tool launches to report on housing needs in alignment with the Countywide Planning Policies.
Countywide Affordability
Jurisdictions across King County are implementing strategies to ensure everyone has a home they can afford. They are adopting and implementing new plans, policies, and strategies to encourage transit-connected affordable housing development, increase the supply of affordable homes, and stabilize renters. Explore this section to learn more about actions underway and the results they are producing.
Affordability in Your Jurisdiction
Housing affordability looks different across King County and so does progress to implement solutions. These snapshots highlight housing conditions and policies in place in each jurisdiction. It does not show the extent to which a policy is implemented or how effective it is. It simply reports whether a policy is adopted and in place somewhere within the jurisdiction. Explore these snapshots to see how communities across the region are addressing housing challenges.
The Regional Affordable Housing Dashboard was last updated in November 2025 with the most recent information available. Some data from the U.S. Census Bureau and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has not yet been updated due to delays in federal data releases, but it still reflects the latest information currently available.
