Annual legislative forum

The King County Developmental Disabilities Annual Legislative Forum is an event to educate elected officials on issues that are important to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and delays and their families, friends, and supporters. We share King County's I/DD and delays legislative priorities, and our community members share their personal stories as they relate to the priorities.

2027 Legislative Forum

Join King County's annual Legislative Forum to connect with legislators, self-advocates, families, service providers, and other community members. Hear personal stories, discuss legislative priorities, and learn about issues affecting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and delays.

Accessibility accommodations, including ASL interpretation, CART captioning, and language interpretation, will be available. Please indicate any accommodation requests when you register.

New! Metro Shuttle 

In partnership with King County Metro, there will be a shuttle bus available to transport legislative forum attendees from the Tukwila International Boulevard light rail station, Southcenter Mall, and the Doubletree Suites. Additional details available soon.

Important note: The shuttle is operated by public transit and is not a free service. Standard King County Metro pricing applies: use your ORCA card/pass, Transit GO ticket app, or exact cash.
