What is VINE?
Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) is a service for victims of crime. With VINE, you can:
- Find information on a person's custody status by phone or online
- Register to receive telephone or email notifications when a person's custody status changes

VINE and King County
You can register to be notified by phone or email if a person is released, transferred, or escapes from a King County jail. VINE services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Notifications can be received in 6 languages: English, Spanish, Amharic, Vietnamese, Russian, and Chinese.

Victim notification through Electronic Home Detention
In accordance with RCW 2.56.260, a court may order victim notification in some domestic violence cases when an individual is on Electronic Home Detention. RCW 2.56.260 is also known as the Tiffany Hill Act.
