Nightly closures of Runway 14R/32L

Runway 14R/32L, also known as the large or main runway at King County International Airport-Boeing Field, will be closed at night from January 27 to 31. The closure will run from 9:30 p.m. local Pacific time to 3:30 a.m. the following morning. These evening-only closures are necessary for the airport to conduct coring samples, surveying, and basic maintenance of the runway surface.

In addition, a two-hour Prior Permission Required (PPR) restriction will be in effect on Runway 14L/32R (the small or utility runway) due to the work encroaching upon the small runway's safety area.
