King County International Airport - Boeing Field
King County International Airport-Boeing Field (FAA LID/IATA: BFI, ICAO: KBFI) is four miles south of downtown Seattle. It's one of the busiest non-hub airports in the nation.
We serve small commercial passenger airlines, cargo carriers, private pilots, corporate jets, helicopters, and military aircraft. We're also home to various Boeing Company operations and the Museum of Flight. Our proximity to downtown lets us host celebrities, dignitaries, and sports teams on a regular basis.
The FIFA World Cup men's soccer tournament is coming to Seattle June 15 - July 6. Matches will be held at Lumen Field, which will be called "Seattle Stadium" for the duration of the tournament.
During the tournament, the airport is expecting very high demand for aircraft parking space on match days, as well as before and after matches. In addition, airport staff will be extremely busy during this period. We thank you in advance for your patience. If you have questions, please contact Airport Operations at 206-296-7334 or AirportOps@kingcounty.gov.
Match dates and information about impacts to other King County facilities and services are available at kingcounty.gov/world-cup.
Again, thank you for your understanding as our region welcomes the world for "The Beautiful Game."
