King County’s Youth and Family Homelessness Prevention Initiative (YFHPI) steps in quickly with landlords and housing providers. Our goal is to help keep families in permanent housing and prevent homelessness.
We are currently partnering with 18 community-based organizations to offer homelessness prevention services.

YouthCare
YouthCare’s Housing Stabilization case managers provide financial resources and community-based case management to youth and families at imminent risk of homelessness in King County.

African Community Housing Development
ACHD focuses on preventing evictions. They do so by working with area landlords they have close relationships with. ACHD can also provide necessary legal referrals, while co-managing the issue with area attorneys. ACHD can help with translations and any cultural differences that may arise.
