Unincorporated King County Alliance
Provides career and businesses support to those disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program is in its third and final year, and will close this fall. Contact: Basha Alexander
Rural Economic Strategies Update
We are updating the 2014 Rural Economic Strategy to include any changes of the last decade, a summary of current efforts, and new recommendations to retain and sustain the rural economy. Contact: Jesse Reynolds
Snoqualmie Valley Economic Alliance
An alliance between King County’s Department of Local Services, Snoqualmie Tribe, and the cities of North Bend, Snoqualmie, Carnation and Duvall. Representatives meet monthly to discuss and enact upon the common goal of a sustainable economy in the Snoqualmie Valley. Contact: Jesse Reynolds
Skyway Beautification
Through King County’s Participatory Budgeting program, the community directed public funds to design and construct improvements along Renton Ave S, making it a more beautiful and welcoming place. Contact: Jesse Reynolds
White Center Revitalization
This program is dedicated to the recovery of the commercial core of White Center following several structure fires in 2021. Potential projects, informed by the community in Fall 2024, have been designed to improve the aesthetics, welcoming nature, and safety of White Center. Contact: Phillip Le
White Center Lighting Improvements
Through King County’s Participatory Budgeting program, community members directed public funds to design and install improved lighting in the White Center business district. Contact: Phillip Le
