Superior Court Clerk System Replacement Project News

SYSTEMS DOWNTIME ALERT

The King County Superior Court Clerk’s Office will replace our E-Filing application on November 12, 2024. Beginning at 4:30pm Friday, November 8, 2024, you will not be able to submit new filings or submissions through the E-Filing application.  

Below is a timeline of what to expect starting Friday, November 8:

4:30 p.m.

E-Filing will be updated to read-only for the public.

  • E-Filing users may submit new case filings, document filings, EPVC submissions, Orders for Review, and E-Working Copies until 4:30 p.m.

Friday, 11/8

6:00 p.m.

All Clerk's Office systems will be taken offline for the three-day weekend.

Tuesday, 11/12

7:00 a.m.

All Clerk's Office systems will be online before the start of business Tuesday morning.

    E-Filing Training Opportunities

    Due to the high level of interest, the Clerk’s Office is adding an additional E-Filing Public Webinar.

    All three webinars will cover the same information. There is no need to attend more than one session.

    If you are currently registered for one of the originally scheduled webinars and would like to switch to the new one on November 1st or need to cancel your original registration, you can do so using the link in your registration confirmation email.

    If you try to register for a session and cannot because it is at capacity, please select a different date.

    The Clerk’s Office will publish instructions and host public webinars before and after launching the new system.  These resources will guide customers on how to navigate the new E-Filing features in the portal.  E-Filing training materials will be posted to the Superior Court Clerk’s Office website on 11/01/2024.

    System Replacement Project Frequently Asked Questions

    E-Filing history will be available until December 12, 2024, 30-days after go-live.  You will be able to view your filings and submissions; however, any new filings or submissions must be made through the new E-Filing application in the KC Script Portal.
    If you are registered for E-Service on a case, you will continue to be registered for E-Service in the new systemYour KC Script Portal account email must match your E-Filing account email.  To learn how to create a KC Script Portal account, visit our KC Script Portal Instructions webpage. You are encouraged to create a portal account before November 12, 2024.
    If you submitted an Order for Review, Ex Parte via the Clerk or Working Copy submission prior to November 12, 2024, this submission will be processed through the old system.

    DJA will work with existing voucher customers to update their new portal accounts. If you have questions about obtaining a voucher account or need your portal account updated, please contact our Accounting Team at 206-477-0812.
