NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Proposed Ordinance 2026-0256

 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Metropolitan King County Council will hold a public hearing on September 8, 2026, at 1:30 pm to consider adoption of Proposed Ordinance 2026-0256, an ordinance relating to the temporary suspension of operations of Drainage District 5 & 5A.

 

LOCATION: King County Courthouse, 516 3rd Avenue, Room 1001, Seattle; remote public testimony on Zoom will also be accepted.

 

HOW TO COMMENT: Written comment will be accepted until 10 am on September 8, 2026, by sending written comments to clerk.council@kingcounty.gov. Please include the legislation number in the subject line.

 

SUMMARY: the purpose of the public hearing is to hear from the public regarding whether it is in the public interest for the King County Council to temporarily suspend the operations of Drainage District 5 & 5A.  After the public hearing on the Proposed Ordinance, it is expected that the Council will take action on it at the September 8, 2026 meeting.
