The 2026 Wastemobile season is here
Bring your unwanted cleaners, pesticides, paint, and other hazardous products
The 2026 Wastemobile season officially rolls out in a couple weeks, bringing free, convenient household hazardous waste disposal to communities across King County from February through October.
Our first stop of the year is on Feb. 13-15 in the Bothell/Woodinville area at the UW Bothell Campus with disposal available each day from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. After that, the Wastemobile will crisscross the county most weekends, making 21 total stops along the way.
Whether you’re tackling a long-overdue cleanout or just have a few items to get rid of, the Wastemobile makes it easy to safely dispose of common household hazardous products like:
- Batteries
- Oil-based paint
- Antifreeze
- Pesticides
- And many other hazardous items
(Be sure to check the full list of accepted items and quantity limits before you head out.)
A few quick tips before you go
A little prep helps keep things safe and efficient for everyone:
- Don’t mix products.
- Keep items in their original containers whenever possible.
- Label anything that isn’t in its original container.
- Secure items to prevent spills or leaks.
- Store products in your trunk, truck bed, or trailer—separate from items you want to keep.
- Stay in your vehicle and follow on-site staff directions during your visit.
