New passenger service added at KCIA
SeaPort Airlines offers service to Portland, while Backcountry Aviation flies to Bellingham
Two airlines have just arrived at King County International Airport-Boeing Field, offering passenger service to two new destinations.
- SeaPort Airlines began serving Portland, Oregon (PDX) on May 20. The carrier offers multiple daily roundtrips using nine-passenger Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Travelers can book tickets online at FlySeaPortAir.com.
- Backcountry Aviation offers trips to Bellingham. For now, flights to BLI are scheduled one day a week on Fridays. The carrier uses a Cessna 402C aircraft for its operations.
Tickets can be booked online at FlyBCA.com.
The addition of these two air carriers brings the total number of passenger destinations from KCIA to five. Kenmore Air continues to offer flights to Friday Harbor/San Juan Island, Eastsound/Orcas Island, and Victoria, B.C. Kenmore also offers scenic flights around Mount Rainier and Mount Saint Helens from KCIA.
