Voluntary Waiver of Firearm Rights

Voluntary Waiver of Firearms Rights or Revocations can be submitted to the clerk’s office in person at any of our locations. These can also be submitted via email at clerksofficecustomerservice@kingcounty.gov.

When filing the voluntary waiver of firearm rights (or revocation) in person:

  1. Provide the clerk with all completed forms
  2. Provide the clerk a valid identification number

When filing the voluntary waiver of firearm rights (or revocation) via email:

  1. Submit all completed forms
  2. Submit a clear scanned copy of your valid identification

 

Once your waiver is processed by the Clerk’s Office, and if it is accepted, you will receive a letter from the Clerk’s Office.
