New board member orientation materials
Welcome new members
Congratulations on your appointment to a King County board or commission! Before you look at anything else, new board members are required to do the following:
- Review, sign and return the completed KC B&C Code of Conduct Form (30KB)
- Review the King County Board of Ethics Summary (588KB)
- Take the Open Public Meetings Act Training
- Take the Public Records Act Training (268KB)

- King County Ethics Program 2024 Financial Disclosure Form for Board Members
- A Summary of King County Code of Ethics (588KB)
- KC Training Certification Form (41KB)
- KC B&C Code of Conduct Form (30KB)
After reviewing the required material, please email your completed KC Training Certification Form to tmahmoud@kingcounty.gov. On this form, you can check off which training(s) you have completed.
