CAIR-WA is working with law enforcement, mosques leaders, and elected officials to ensure that places of worship are secure today. The group is continuing to monitor this situation and will keep the community updated. 

"We grieve with our brothers and sisters in New Zealand tonight. This type of violent hate is unacceptable anywhere and particularly horrifying in a house of worship. No one should ever feel afraid while practicing their faith." – Council on American-Islamic Relations.

“King County extends to our Muslim friends and neighbors condolences for the victims and families of the terrorist attacks at mosques in New Zealand.
