Story
The Metropolitan King County Council today gave its unanimous approval to the appointment of Keith Livingston, who resides in County Council District 7, to the King County Conservation Futures Advisory Committee. The committee, which consists of sixteen members, recommends the allocation of Conservation Futures Tax Levy (CFT) funds to purchase or preserve open space lands in unincorporated King County and its cities.

The Conservation Futures Advisory Committee reviews applications for CFT funds and recommends the allocation of CFT funds to the King County Executive and Council, which make the final funding awards.
