Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer’s annual Town Hall on Property Taxes at Federal Way’s City Hall with Assessor John Arthur Wilson was well attended.

Among the issues of discussed was property tax affordability for seniors and those families recovering from the challenging economy. Many seniors were concerned about being taxed out of their houses. There was also concern about upcoming assessments, including proposed taxes for Sound Transit 3.
