In the first Good Eggs Breakfast of 2015, Metropolitan King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer welcomed Representative Frank Chopp (D-Seattle), Washington State Speaker of the House. Chopp gave local civic leaders an inside look at the challenging 2015 legislative session.

Speaker Chopp discussed the delicate balance facing the state legislature in providing funds for preservation, maintaining and developing new projects including funds for higher education to impact our state’s economic region and to strengthen our workforce.

In appreciation of waking up so early before heading out to Olympia, Councilmember von Reichbauer provided Chopp with some Skittles to summon his inner “Beast Mode” for the challenges in Olympia.
