The Metropolitan King County Council will meet with the Seattle City Council for a special night meeting to receive public comment on the proposed new arena in Seattle’s Stadium District:

                                                             600 Fourth Ave, 1st Floor

The King County Council and Seattle City Council are currently reviewing a memorandum of understanding negotiated between investor Christopher Hansen, County Executive Dow Constantine and Seattle Mayor McGinn to construct in the SODO neighborhood a facility with the ability to host NBA and NHL teams.

The special joint meeting will provide an opportunity for the public to provide input on the proposal to the members of the two bodies that must both adopt the memorandum for the project to move forward.
