On Friday, February 13th King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer presented South King County resident Dick Brugger with a proclamation honoring his years of service in South King County at the Auburn Youth Resources annual Valentine’s Day breakfast.

“Dick exemplifies the strong community spirit we have in South King County,” said von Reichbauer. “His career of serving our community’s at-risk youth leaves a lasting legacy that will serve our region for years to come.”

Dick Brugger served as the Executive Director at Auburn Youth Resources, a local non profit group in South King County that provides vital services to the area’s at-risk youth and families, from 1976 until 1998. During his tenure, Auburn Youth Resources implemented a number of programs which are still in existence today. Auburn Youth Resources has served thousands of at-risk youth and their families since 1973.
