Summary

Public Health—Seattle & King County (PHSKC) will fund up to four agencies to establish new non-clinical School-Based Integrated Behavioral Health Care Coordinator (BHC) roles in up to 21 middle and high schools with school-based health centers (SBHC) in Seattle (see Attachment 4: Proposed Sites). Funding from this investment will embed 1.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) BHC at each school/school-based health center site (plus supervision) to provide coordination and partnership to increase navigation to behavioral health care supports for students during the school year (September-June). Additional funding may be available from the City of Seattle to selected applicants for expansion of this work into the summer months.

Pre-application conference

Public Health—Seattle & King County will conduct a pre-Application conference for this RFA. This conference will be an opportunity for interested organizations to hear more about the program and to ask questions about the program and/or the application process.
